Saw this over the weekend on TV and Digital Buzz posted on their site. Though it does amuse me to think that there was once a time when Google didn’t need to do TV spots.

SAS won the award for being the most punctual airline - again - and is taking advantage of that honor to torment their competitors.  I like their sense of humor.

Talk about a nasty bug…ok. so traditional billboards are not exactly screaming “I AM DIGITAL”. But as Digital Buzz points out, anyone who uses live bacteria to create a real billboard deserves a bit of applause. Assuming it isn’t anthrax, of course.

Hear the young Lions roar. So sending “flowers” on Facebook isn’t exactly new (remember pokes? Or gifts?). But it becomes really cool when each “flower” sent through 1800 Flowers Facebook store becomes one flower in a real bouquet.  1800 Flowers then bundles it up to send the biggest “real” birthday bouquet ever - sent same day.  (via Digital Buzz)

Ikea is always willing to test and try. A great initiative coming out from two students from the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam.  

Two days of running and technology coming together. Life can’t get better. New Balance created an ARG app to promote the opening of their flagship store in NYC. Grab the virtual baton and run for your life - first person to the store with baton in hand wins a free pair of NB 574’s. The catch? Anyone else with the app can steal the baton from you if they get too close. Collect the most batons over time, you get a 14K Gold Baton worth $20K+.  Um.  I’d rather have the cash. C’mon New Balance, what’s up with that?
